Assistance from abroad will be needed as long as the economic and social conditions in Russia remain so unstable and whilst there is not enough support from inside Russia itself for non-state projects. All donations, however big or small, help: £5 a month would pay for an “extra” budget for one group in Pavlovsk. This enables our volunteers to buy additional fruit or juice for the group during the month and to help celebrate a child’s birthday by being able to buy a small cake and present. £20-£25 a month would fund the materials needed for one of the workshops in Peterhof: the art studio, woodwork, café or educational centre. £80 a month would buy over half the pampers needed for the family project, and one Russian volunteer in any of our projects costs us £120 a month.
Anyone who pays standard rate tax and is prepared to sign a Gift Aid declaration will enable Perspectives to claim back the tax that they have paid from the Inland Revenue. Anyone who pays higher rate tax can claim further tax relief through their Self Assessment Tax Return.
Any donations should be sent to our registered office, which is shown on the left hand column of this page.
